Hello! I'm Dr. Brittney Doll

The InPowerment Reclamation Method is designed for women emerging from coercive systems — relationships, families, or religious control.

And this isn’t just theory. I’ve lived it.

I know what real healing looks like.
I’ve walked this path.
I combine:

  • Nervous system healing

  • Parts work (healing inner protector, wounded, and survival parts)

  • Earth-based and shamanic practices

  • Compassionate accountability

I don’t just listen.
I walk with you.
I challenge you with care.
I hold you accountable to the work — so you actually move forward.

You are not left alone to figure this out.

Many of the clients who find me are searching for answers to questions like:
“Why do I doubt myself now?”
“Why can’t I trust my own judgment?”
“Why do I feel disconnected from who I used to be?”

These are not signs of weakness or pathology. They are common and understandable responses to prolonged relational trauma.

If you are looking for a companion who understands the complexity of coercive control—and who views healing as a process of reclamation rather than correction—you are welcome to explore whether my work may be a good fit for you.

You’ve got questions. I’ve got answers.

How do I begin working with you?

It's easy! Just contact me through my contact page or send me an email at bdoll@brittneydoll.com

I look forward to working with you!

What are your credentials?

I hold a BS from Cincinnati Christian University (2009) in Psychology and Biblical Studies; a MS from Friends University (2014) in Family Therapy Studies; and a PsyD from California Southern University (2022) in Clinical Psychology. I hold an IMFT license in Ohio (F.2200262) and an LCMFT license in Kansas (03636). I am certified in EMDR, EFT, Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy, and MBSR trauma techniques. I have also been trained in shamanic practices, which I use regularly for deep healing.

Do you practice what you preach?

Heck yes, I do. In fact, I went to therapy for 10 years before beginning my own mental health education. I came from an unstable home environment, but have been working diligently to learn healthy coping techniques, efficient communication, and deep soul healing. I use all of the techniques that I teach on a daily basis. I often say, I wouldn’t trust a dentist with rotten teeth—so I don’t expect you to work with a therapist who isn’t actively tending to her own mental health and well-being.

I specialize in coercive relationships and religious trauma because I have lived experience in these areas. I have been in narcissistic relationships and was shunned by the church after leaving my husband (a pastor) of 14 years. It's my story. But my story did not end there and yours won't either. There is hope on the other side and there is great healing through reconnecting with your inner knowing and rediscovering your voice. Let's do that together.
